CHAPTER SEVEN- School

When we arrived at Forks High School, of course everyone was staring at us. Not to be rude, but ভ্যাম্পায়ার are just naturally আরো attractive than humans. So with us, we brought a lot of attention. And, being the Cullens, we all loved the attention, so we linked arms, with me in the middle, and walked confidently to the office.
Emmett, what have people been thinking? I wondered.
Well, what do আপনি think? Three, new, attractive strangers at the most boring school ever? he replied. I nodded as Jasper gave me a curious look. I glanced at Emmett and he informed Jasper on our conversation. I loved it when we did this. It felt like we had our own little secrets that no one else ever knew. It just felt so.. us! Jasper held the office door open for me and Emmett.
”Thanks Jas”, I ব্যক্ত as I crossed the threshold.
“No probs, sis”, he replied. “Ladies first, Emmett”, he joked.
“Jasper, আপনি know better than to piss me off”, whispered Emmett. And with that, Emmett gave Jasper a gentle push that sent him flying through the air. Luckily, Emmett knew how far to go and Jasper didn’t go flying through the wall, he just went flying at the wall, so the plaster didn’t crack. We all started laughing and joking around, and me and Emmett went to help Jasper up, and I pushed Emmett a bit, about to tell him to stop being so non-human, until I realized everyone in the office was staring at us, jaws practically on the ground. Then I looked through the office window, only to see everyone in the car park staring at us too. I hung my head down but kept my eyes up, so I could look at everyone’s faces. And eventually, I found Edward. His eyes were wide with shock.
Emmett, I know everyone’s staring at us but see that guy পরবর্তি to the silver Volvo? That’s Edward. Can আপনি get a read on him? I asked. I watched as Emmett frowned, then I saw his eyes widen.
Sis, আপনি were right. He is a vampire and he has two sisters, Alice and Rosalie, and there’s Esme as well. At least they’re vegetarians. Maybe we should, আপনি know, get to know them Emmett replied.
Well, that’s why we’re here I ব্যক্ত as I walked towards Edward.
“Hey Edward… can আপনি help me? I have no clue where room 23 is...?”, I asked, all happy and cheery. He stared at me for what seemed like forever, then wiped the shocked look off his face and nodded.
“Sure, I’m in room 23 as well”, he said.
“So, do আপনি have any siblings?”, I asked, curiously.
“Yeah, two sisters, Rosalie and Alice… they’re over there”, he said, as he gave them a wave. “Rosalie is the blonde one, and Alice is the short one”, he added.
“What rooms are they in today?”, I asked.
“Rosalie is in room 13, I think and Alice might be in room 34”, he asked.
Emmett, আপনি take on Rosalie, she’s in room 13 so try and get a timetable to match hers and tell Jasper that Alice is in room 34… so see what আপনি can find out.
K, sis, see ya at recess.
When we arrived at room 23, I went to the teachers desk. His name was Mr. Austin and he taught social studies. I hated social studies, but I was glad that the only আসন left was পরবর্তি to Edward. After Mr. Austin had set some work for us to complete, I turned towards Edward and started talking to him.
“So, have আপনি always lived here”, I asked.
“No, we moved here a couple years ago… we couldn’t stand the weather in Phoenix, it was too sunny”, he said, giving me a sly look.
“Really? I like the sun… the feeling of it, but আপনি know, I get exhausted easily”, I replied.
“What time is lunch? I’m thirsty…”, I asked.
“12:30… but I’m on a, uh, special diet… so it doesn’t effect me”, he answered. I smirked and nodded. We didn’t say much after that, and I’m pretty sure it was because we both knew what each other was. I met up with my brothers at lunch and Emmett told me that Rosalie was too gorgeous for words to describe and I believed him as I had witnessed her beauty earlier that day, and Jasper ব্যক্ত Alice somehow ‘knew’ what all our names were, and she had just blanked a few times, like she was having a vision.
Emmett, they are vampires.. we need to find out where they live to see if they want to talk about all this stuff. I thought to Emmett.
“Sis, if আপনি talk quiet enough, no one will hear us”, he said.
I know, but I like thinking better… it makes me feel like we’re… embracing our inner vampire… I mean, being human is cool… but this is just what we do! I explained.
He grinned and nodded in a non obvious way.
“Guys, let’s go talk to them, all together…”, I suggested. Emmett got up straight away but Jasper took some convincing.
“Steph, Alice looks very powerful.. I don’t want to start anything”, he said.
“I just want to talk, Jasper. Come on”, I said. So he followed me.
