Have u ever named a character to be a certain type of person than looked up the meaning of the word and it's totally opposite?

Totally! i named one of my characters Tam, and the person ws all evil, but then I looked it up. Tam means "innocent."

Yeah, for example a girl in my book named Jia Li (who is supposed to be the most positive character in the story) means POWERFUL FAMILY in Chinese... wtf হাঃ হাঃ হাঃ :D
But I luv looking up names and seeing what they truly mean, itz fun ^^

When I named Mordred and Morgan's half-brothers. Most of their names were the complete opposite to them in meaning.
Minoru's main trait is being a complete and utter liar who finds it almost impossible to tell the truth. But his name means truth.
Leonard is a coward and has pantophobia. But his name mean ব্রেভ as a Lion. The only link I see between him and the name meaning is he's on the same নৌকা as the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard Of Oz XDD
Albin is very greedy and never grateful অথবা stasified. But his name means fair.
The only one who makes sense is Judas, because he can't stop praising people. Even the good guys when they're on the winning side. Judas means praise.
