Beast often refers to জন্তু জানোয়ার in general. While monster can refer to a 'beast' অথবা animal, man, woman, creature, just about anything, it's vague so আপনি can use them for as interchangeable meanings. The big difference I'd say being beast is আরো physical while monster can be both physical and psychological.
