How do আপনি refer to someone's parents while in the third person?

I like "Said his father" more. It just sounds.... So.... Mature to me. I dunno why.

i think it should be 'said his father'. 'said dad' doesn't make much sense about whose father we're talking about. আপনি can say 'said his dad'. that would be alright too.

His/her father, অথবা [character name's] father. If the father's name has been প্রদত্ত (e.g., Daniel), আপনি could use that.
