Protagonist means the main character, so Light is indeed the protagonist. He is not the antagonist. The antagonist is the one who goes up against the main character, which means এল-মৃত্যু পত্র is an antagonist, not Light.

Yes, that is true. However, even though Light is the main character, he is the total opposite of a good guy, which would be এল-মৃত্যু পত্র :P

well protagonist don't have to be thr good guy and the antagonist doesn't have to be the bad guy. Whoever the main character is is always the protagonist.
