Chapter 5: A skirt,a zipper, and a playroom

Five months later

“Hugh, the kids are all gone” Lisa ব্যক্ত as she came into the study.
It was Friday evening and glad that the weekend was coming, Hugh sat in the study পাঠ করা the newest script. The writers did such a good job, again. He was sitting in the huge armchair, his legs on the coffee টেবিল in front of him. As he saw Lisa moving closer to him, he dropped his legs from the টেবিল and put the script aside.
She sat down on his lap, he was আরো than happy with what she did.
She put her arm around his shoulders “Becca is sleeping at Alexis' house, and Billy and Charlie are staying overnight at Josh's place” she ব্যক্ত smiling a bit
“What could we possibly do?” Hugh whispered burring his face in her hair.
She answered him with a passionate kiss.

The পূর্ববর্তি five months had been really … eventful. After that awkward family dinner, Hugh had started thinking about Lisa 24/7. He hadn't wanted to act on anything, because he wasn't sure if Lisa shared the same feelings as he did.
And then his feelings? He came to the term that he had some in store for her. Besides those he already knew he had, her being his best friend. He wasn't sure which new feelings he had had exactly, but they had been there.
However, he hadn't tried anything. After all
he hadn't wanted to compromise their friendship just because he had 'some' feelings.
The kids, had bothered the both of them every single day. Making মতামত every time they'd seen Hugh and Lisa touch, even if it was just when they handed salt to one other during the meals.
Of course, a simple gesture had turned out to be inexhaustible উৎস of their remarks.
And don't have them started on Hugh and Lisa's scenes on the show. Oh, they would have gone on and on about it. It was awkward enough that Cuddy and House had finally been put into a relationship and Hugh and Lisa had many 'steamy' scenes together, and the kids finding every opportunity to remind them about it, was আরো then awkward.
What was even worse than kids finding ever opportunity to jab at them, the press had started speculating Lisa and Hugh were together a long time before.
Although, that had been to expect. Lisa moving in with Hugh just after his wife had passed away, who wouldn't have thought there had been something আরো to it?
And... one night, three months ago... The similar night to this one, the kids weren't home. Hugh forgot where they were exactly, but the point was that they were all gone.
An empty house...
Lisa had been preparing for some party in her room (Charles had still been dwelling over the playroom)
when the zipper on her স্কার্ট had stuck. She'd called Hugh to come help her, and he'd found her... half naked struggling with it...
And then Hugh had realized why they had funny সঙ্গীত playing in similar scenes on the show...
Awkward, awkward, awkward … And just after that, he'd as well realized how beautiful Lisa had been.
And after that...
Let's just say... the zipper problem had been overcome when her স্কার্ট ended up on the floor... along with the other things...
The পরবর্তি morning, Hugh had woken up to the sight of Lisa sleeping, her head on his chest. He knew he had been an idiot for not acknowledging his feelings before. She'd sure proved she had 'some' in store for him as well.
It had been then that he realized how much she REALLY meant to him...
And awkwardly, that had been the exact moment Charles and Billy came প্রথমপাতা and found Hugh and Lisa... red-handed. So to speak.

After that, there had been no question. Charles had gotten his playroom.
