Were আপনি shocked when আপনি found out that Elisabeth Sladen died?!

Yes, I like many had no idea she was ill. I was camping in my বন্ধু back garden and she woke up before me and went on ফেসবুক on her blackberry, she isn't a doctor who/ sarah jane অনুরাগী as i am and she doesn't know i like it,so when she casually ব্যক্ত "god u know that woman off the old doctor who, that sarah woman she died!" I didn't believe her and went প্রথমপাতা to check. I have watched loads of 'remembering Lis Sladen' vids, and it only sank in when i watched the newsround video of the sarah jane cast thanking people for posting their প্রণয় on the newsround website xx She will never leave us really because she is in every অনুরাগী হৃদয় old and new xx Rest in peace Elisabeth Sladen xxx (sorry its so long but i felt i needed to share my experience, even if i am not a super fan, the sadness i felt shocked me!)

She died aged 65-1st February 1946-19th April 2011. I was in Stuttgart when I found out. I cried in my sleep. Lis was like family to me. If ever I needed to escape reality-that being bullies at school, stress form exams-I would rely on 'SJA' to fulfil this and she succeeded. She was my world, my role model and no one will ever replicate her talent. Also, the saddest thing is, she never knew how good she was and always doubted herself. I will never forget you, Lis. I will always remember আপনি with fondness. :( Rest In Peace.

Yes I was , I didn't know she was ill let alone that she had cancer! She didn't look at all ill on Sarah Jane Adventures অথবা her Alien Files shows!

Yes I was. From the Characters point of view, Luke has হারিয়ে গেছে his mum and K9 has হারিয়ে গেছে his Mistress. RIP Sarah Jane.

Yes and very sad. Took a while for the news to set in but after being shocked I became angry. How could such a beautiful person be taken from us so quickly and way to soon. Lis has so much life in her, and so much to live for. Her loss made me প্রশ্ন the meaning of everything. I, and even though I never was privy to meet her, miss her greatly. The world is a less kinder place without her in it.
