So let’s talk about Grand Theft Auto… Okay, this is not gonna be easy to discuss. I never really enjoyed the gameplay of IV অথবা even V. I think it was too real, if that makes any sense. It felt weighted down, and just kinda dull for me. I like the characters, I like the story, and I like the witty humor and satire of the modern world, but man, was the gameplay not doing it for me. But then I went back and tired out some older GTA games from the past, and yeah, this is definitely what I prefered. And let’s start with one of my favorites, Vice City.
The story is simple if আপনি watched Scarface অথবা any classic crime film. Gangster Tommy Vercetti gets involved in a drug deal gone really bad and is left to take over Vice City, totally not Miami, and start up his own drug empire through threats, drug deals, and other such things. Clearly not the hero in this story, but an interesting character nonetheless. And man, is this game stylish. Sure, the graphics aren’t at the quality that Rockstar has nowadays with their realistic horse testical physics, but I really like this setting. The neon lights of Vice City that glow throughout the streets and mix well with the old 80s esthetique. And remember when I ব্যক্ত I don’t like feeling too realistic? Well, this game doesn’t have that. আপনি can blow off people heads in a ফোয়ারা of blood, and do missions that consist of being chased দ্বারা angry chefs to chasing a fat man down the রাস্তা with a chainsaw. These missions are so stupid and I প্রণয় them. And the music. I tried real hard not to say this in this article, but the সঙ্গীত is just so… 80s. আপনি got সঙ্গীত from classic glam rock bands like Motley Crue and Loverboy, to সঙ্গীত groups like Tears for Fears and Flock of Seagulls. Hell, they even got Night Ranger. My mom watched VH1 when I was really young, so I know this stuff. It really fits well with the world of Vice City when আপনি drive down in a Mercedes listening to Hall and Oates. Maybe not so much when আপনি have the hellbent police force on your ass. And then there are the cheat codes. Man, these things are just begging for total chaos. This was honestly a game I had a ton of fun screwing around in, exploring the town to find secrets. I didn’t get that with V and especially IV, but this world really interested me and I had a ton of fun hanging out in this place. Sure, some of the missions were brutally hard, but most of them were fun and were ones I’d happily play again.
Vice City is one of the আরো fun to play Grand Theft Auto games. I only played four in my entire life, and III is nowhere to be found on this list, sadly. I don’t know if they’ll ever return to Vice City in any future GTA games, and I doubt it would ever be the same since it was so classic 80s. Maybe an HD remaster then? Come on, Rockstar! I’m sure আপনি can put in a few hundred work hours to make it possible.
