Thats true. And it can only use the attacks that the other pokemon has. If ditto was battling a Blaziken and wanted 2 use Jump Kick but Blaziken didnt know the attack then ditto wouldnt b able 2 use it.

But ditto can be helpful when catching a pokemon and the same with smeargle. If u know the pokemons attacks then it will b easy to defend urself against it or u can no if its a good pokemon 2 catch.
